What is U-KLIK.COM

U-KLIK.COM is designed to recognize and reward qualified loyal online bookers who make online group, event or individual guestroom reservations to Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou at www.u-klik.com or www.shangri-la.com using the U-KLIK.COM membership. The U-KLIK.com membership comes with a unique member’s booker account ID to be used when making online reservations.

For individual guestroom reservations, earn reward points when the online guestroom reservation made to the Hotel at Corporate, Public or Long Stay Rates with a member’s booker account ID have materialized. Reward points for groups and event reservations will be awarded to paid materialized online group and event reservations made at qualifying rates and dates.

Accumulated reward points can be used to redeem attractive rewards online in U-KLIK.COM.


Who can be a member?

Eligibility for membership is as follows:

Individual Guestroom Booking
Any individual or company that requires hotel accommodation at Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou and makes online individual guestroom reservations, including authorised individuals of companies with contracted rates with Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou, are eligible to be a member of the U-KLIK.COM membership programme.

Group Booking
Pre-qualified individual or company that has potential to make online hotel guestroom and event reservations for Groups (minimum 10 guestrooms arriving and departing at the same period) with the Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou under the following market segments:
- Group Corporate Meetings (GCM)
- Group Conventions and Associations (GCA)
- Group Others (Excluding Tour Group) (GOT)

The above is applicable to:
1) Single or ad hoc group with a minimum of 10 guestrooms per group.
2) Individual or company with potential for two or more group bookings annually.

Event Booking
Pre-qualified individual or company that has potential to make online reservations for in-house events or outside catering made to the Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou under the following market segments:
- Local Catering
- Government and Association

The above is applicable to:
1) Single event or ad hoc event with a minimum of 100 covers per event.
2) Individual or company with potential for two or more in-house event or catering bookings annually.

Membership to U-KLIK.COM is at the discretion of the Hotel and shall be qualified on an annual basis.


Are there different types of membership?

There are two types of membership:

Individual Membership:
One or several individuals from a company that makes online group, event and individual guestroom reservations who redeem rewards from accumulated points in the member’s booker account.

Corporate Membership:
One or several individuals from a company that make online group, event and individual guestroom reservations, with points credited to the company and only one authorised individual is allowed to redeem rewards on behalf of the company.

Membership to U-KLIK.COM is at the discretion of the Hotel and shall be qualified on an annual basis.


What benefits do I get?

Members can redeem a myriad attractive rewards online at U-KLIK.COM with the accumulated reward points. Members can also enjoy additional benefits and promotions found in U-KLIK.COM.

How do I enroll in the membership programme?

Simply login onto www.u-klik.com and click onto APPLY TO JOIN.

Will membership be at any cost to me?

U-KLIK.COM membership is absolutely FREE.
Membership is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.


When do I receive my member’s booker ID?

Upon approval of the application, member’s booker ID will be provided by an Account Manager.

Does my membership expire?

Renewal of membership is at the discretion of Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou and is qualified on an annual basis.

How do I make bookings online?

Individual Guestroom Reservations
Just visit the reservations page on www.shangri-la.com or click onto “Book A Room” in www.u-klik.com to be linked to the reservations page. After selecting the preferred reservation dates and keying in the mandatory details, indicate in the SPECIAL REQUESTS box, your U-KLIK.COM member’s booker ID before submitting the reservation.

Group Booking
Visit the reservation page on www.shangri-la.com via specific link provided to you by a Sales Manager. After selecting the preferred reservation dates and keying in the mandatory details, indicate in the SPECIAL REQUESTS box, your U-KLIK.COM member’s booker ID before submitting the reservation.

Event Booking
Visit www.u-klik.com and select “Event & Group Enquiry”. Key in all mandatory details on corresponding fields and indicate in the U-KLIK BOOKER ID box, your U-KLIK.COM member’s booker ID before submission.

Note: Discrepancies in the member’s booker account ID entered are qualified at the discretion of Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou.


How do I earn reward points?

Individual Guestroom Booking
Points are credited in the member’s booker account when paid room reservations made online at www.u-klik.com or www.shangri-la.com using Corporate, Public or Long Stay Rates, have materialised.

Group and Event Bookings
Points are credited in the member’s bookers account within 30 days upon receipt of full payment for materialised QUALIFIED group and event bookings made online at www.u-klik.com or www.shangri-la.com.

The U-KLIK.COM member’s booker ID must be indicated before submission of the reservations, without which your reservations will not be valid for reward points accumulation.

Points are given as follows:

Guestroom Booking (Individual & Group)
5 points : One room night for Deluxe room or Executive room
7 points : One room night for Horizon Deluxe/ Horizon Executive
10 points : One room night for Horizon Premier
15 points : One room night for any Suite room

* Using individual account (not corporate account) to make reservations on www.shangri-la.com will enjoy an additional 50% reward points.

7 points : One room night for Deluxe room or Executive room
10 points : One room night for Horizon Deluxe/ Horizon Executive
15 points : One room night for Horizon Premier
22 points : One room night for any Suite room

* A minimum of 10 guestrooms is required for awarding of points to Group Reservation.
* Points for guestroom accommodation are awarded base on the paid room type excluding any complimentary upgrades or upgrade benefits. In the event of a room upgrade, points awarded are based on initial room category booked.

Event Reservation
Every RMB100 consumption for Events will get 1 reward point.
* Points for Events are awarded based on fully paid only.
* The Hotel reserves the right to increase or decrease the qualifying point rates without prior notice.

General
* In the event of a rebate, calculations will be based on final figures after deduction rebates.
* Accumulation of points starts from the date the member’s booker account ID is approved.
* Group, event and individual guestroom reservation will not be eligible for points if the member’s booker account is not provided when booking is made.
* Group and event reservation will not be eligible for points if it has not been pre-qualified and the clause for awarding of points is not included in the final Contract.
* The Hotel reserves the right to increase or decrease the qualifying point rates without prior notice.
* The U-KLIK.COM member’s booker ID should always be quoted at the point of reservation.

How do I check the summary of my reward points?

Simply login onto www.u-klik.com with the member’s booker account ID and password to access the accumulated reward points in the point summary section.

Notes:
Individual Guestroom Reservation
Rewards points are credited upon guest check-out and accommodation paid in full. Update of points are done on Monday of every week, except on public holidays.

Group and Event Reservation
Reward points are credited within 30 days upon confirmation of payment for materialized guestroom and event reservation.


Are my reward points transferable and do they expire?

Reward points have an expiry date, are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Reward points expire based on the following criteria:
- For memberships approved between 1 January and 30 June of any given year, reward points earned from 1 January to 31 December of the same year will expire after 30 June of the following year.
- For memberships approved between 1 July and 31 December of any given year, reward points earned from 1 July of the same year until 30 June the following year will expire after 31 December of the following year.

Note: Unredeemed points will automatically expire without further notice to the members as indicated on the above dates and without any liability whatsoever on the part of the Company in respect thereof.


How do I redeem rewards with my reward points?

Reward item/s in the rewards gallery can be redeemed when sufficient reward points have been accumulated as indicated in the member’s point summary.

Individual redemption:
Please login onto www.u-klik.com with the member’s booker account ID and password to check the status of the point summary and process all redemptions online. Upon submission of redemption, please allow ten to fifteen (10-15) working days to process and receive advise on the collection date of the reward item/s from the Hotel’s U KLIK CENTER.

Corporate redemption:
Please contact the Account Manager to consolidate and process the group point summary and identify reward item/s for redemption.
* Points redeemed will be deducted automatically from a member’s booker account once the points have been redeemed.
* Redeemed rewards are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
* A copy of the member’s Identification Card (for Chinese Nationals) or Passport (for Non-Chinese Nationals) must be submitted to the U KLIK CENTER for processing of the redemption.


What should I do if the reward I want is not available?

Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou will suggest a replacement item of similar value in the rewards gallery. Members may choose to continue with the redemption of the new item or the redemption may be cancelled and reward points will not be deducted.

If there is a change in my address or other personal details, who should I contact?

Please login onto www.u-klik.com with the member’s booker account ID and password to update the member’s profile.
